Judi Hyman TWOKOI Japanese Cusinie

While all of the action is taking place on the inside of TWOKOI Japanese Cuisine, Judi spends the majority of her time working with the outside. Somewhat new to Tacoma, she has been able to jump in with both feet. Activity in local organizations and programs seems to have tapped into her passion for a bustling and vibrant downtown community.

Kris is the former owner of Vin Grotto Cafe & Wine Bar and is now the owner of STINK Cheese-Meats where she specializes in fine cheese, meats, and old world inspired wines and beer. She was born and raised in Tacoma and is a strong proponent of Downtown Tacoma and it's future.

A little over 5 years ago Tobin had the bright idea to open a tea shop in Downtown Tacoma, and apparently it is working! He considers himself a work in progress, enjoys reading 17th Century Middle-European Travel Guides, and collects old molasses jars. He believe in Tacoma and loves downtown.

Halley Griffin works as marketing director for Seabury School, community journalist for Tacoma KOMO, and Tacoma ambassador to the outside world. She's lived in Tacoma for the greater part of two decades, has a dog named Grandma Moses and is one of the rare people who doesn't mind sitting through a three-hour city council meeting.

Bob is the General Manager at the Harmon Brewery and Restaurant. The Harmon opened in 1997 and has been a key player in the revitalization of downtown Tacoma. He has lived in Tacoma since 1994 and has been involved with the Harmon since 2000.

Phyllis is a Tacoma native and co-owner of both The Art Stop, a gallery of fine craft, and LeRoy Jewelers, designers and manufacturers of fine custom jewelry. She is also a founding member and past President of the Downtown Merchants Group.
